Adding a link to your course menu is a great way of adding persistent external content to your course. This can be used to add personal touches, such as linking to your own website or "About Me" page, or resources such as the library databases and news websites, or anything else you can think of.

Instructions

In your course, go to the Apps tab in Settings.
Use the search bar on the upper right to look for "redirect tool" or scroll until you see a big blue rounded arrow.
Click on the Redirect Tool and then click +Add App
Type in the name of the website you want to add and paste in its URL.
Check the box next to Show in Course Navigation and then Add App.
Click to a different page of your course (or just refresh the page) and your new link will appear at the bottom of your course menu.
If you want to reposition it, go to the Navigation tab of the Settings menu and drag the link up to its new position, then click Save.
